6' small forward
Boston moved into the starting
lineup at the end of her freshman year and stayed there until she suffered
a foot injury sidelined her for the last two months of the season and she
was missed. Tanisha was the best passer on the team and stabilized
them when facing a press as she knew where the ball needed to go.
She also played strong defense. Boston was the proverbial player
who did all the little things. Unfortunately, with the youth on this
team, she needed to do the big things and she didn't. She was a good
shooter in practice who was never able to carry that over to games. Her
scoring and rebounding were down this year, when the team needed her to
step up. As the focus of the offense changed from the perimeter to
the post, she frequently hesitated and was late with the pass inside.
Instead of leading a young team as a senior, her off-season conditioning
was suspect. Despite her passing skills, she ended her career with
a .7 assist/turnover ratio.
