Goodlow's knee injury does not appear to be serious.  She is scheduled to return for the team's first game at Colorado State on Nov 19

Last season, post player Raina Goodlow suffered a knee injury in a non-conference game and was hampered throughout the season.  She suffered another knee injure in the Wolves first exhibition game.  The initial diagnosis was a sprained knee.  She will be evaluated further.

Michigan received a third verbal commitment from 5'8 PG Michaela Leary, number 121 in the ASGR, from Nashua NH.

Michigan has received verbal commitments from  Christie Schumacher, a 6' swing player from Milford Mi, who is ranked #69 by the All Star Girls report, and Jennifer Smith, a 6'4 center of Lansing, who is ranked #157 in the ASGR.

Stacey Thomas was named an alternate for the US World University Games team.
