Feb 2, 2000  The Spartans win over Iowa  was their school record 14th straight at home.

Jan 19, 2000  Veteran coach Karen Langeland announced that she will step down at the end of the season.  She has always been one of the classiest coaches around and will be missed greatly.

Freshman Jennifer Callifer will be out until around Jan 1 with a stress fracture in her foot

6'2 power forward Annie Peck from Madison Ct has given Karen Langeland a verbal commitment to join the Spartans for the 2000 season.

Michigan State went 5-0 on a trip to Canada Aug 17-26.  Kristen Rasmussen lead the team in scoring with 17.8 ppg, while Maxann Reese added 16.6 and Becky Cummings 11.2  No one else averaged over 8.
