Feb 6, 2000  A school record  3,926 fans saw the Wildcats lose to Purdue.

Teri Moren and Cleve Wright, who coached with Olkowski at Butler, were named assistant coaches.  Andrea Johnson moved from the ticket office of the Chicago Condor to the NW bench.  Moren will serve as top assistant and recruiting coordinator.

Former Butler head Coach June Olkowski was named to coach the Wildcats.  The three time MCC Coach of the Year replaces Don Perrelli who retired after the 1998-99 season
