Jan 6, 2000  Junior Katie Douglas scored her 1000th point against Penn State.  She reached it in 79 games, which tied her for fourth fastest in Purdue history.

Dec 3, 1999.  Junior forward Connie Murdock has left the Boilermaker team.  She has been granted a release from her letter of intent and will have one year of eligalibility left after she transfers.  She had played only minimally for Kristy Curry.

Shalica Hurns, a 6' swing player from Indianapolis, ranked #66, committed to the Boilers.

Cherrise Graham, a 5'8 point guard from Conshocken Pa, ranked #6 by the ASGR, announced she will attend Purdue in the Fall of 2000.

Kristy Curry has received verbal commitments from Lebanon Ohio's 6' small forward Lindsey Hicks, ranked #76 by the All-Star Girls Report, and Beth Jones, a 5'8 shooting guard from Maineville Oh, ranked #179 by the same publication. 

The Purdue women's basketball team was the only Big 10 team named to the WBCA top 25 academic teams.

Purdue player Tiffany Young was killed when an alleged drunk driver ran a red light and broadsided her car.

Purdue named former LaTech assistant Kristy Curry to replace Carolyn Peck as head coach.  She named her husband Kelly Curry as an assistant.
