Head Coach:  Jane Albright

The league's warmest and fuzziest coach, Albright has turned around a Wisconsin program that had one of the least storied histories in the Big 10.  She has had great success as a recruiter and has taken players away from the top programs in the country in the past three recruiting classes and has produced the last two Big 10 Freshmen of the Year.  On the court, she is an aggressive coach who gives her players the freedom to play their games offensively.  So far, she has not gotten her teams to play with the same intensity and effort on the defensive end that they show offensively.  Her teams have not been at all athletic and her defensive schemes are designed for the more athletic types of players.  Albright has won over 60% of her Big 10 games, but the Badgers have yet to show the toughness needed to play well away from home.  Her recruiting successes in the past few years appear to give her the players to become a force no matter where they play.
